So, Chris found these great books for beginner readers! They are called BOB Books The first time Izzy sat down with him and one of these books, she read the whole book by herself (with just a little coaching)!
She is really looking forward to Kindergarten and learning. It was really exciting to see her actually read. She sounded out the words and put the sounds together to make words and then sentences. So now Chris tries to work with her every evening. Kris also helped her read the books this afternoon.

We're all adjusting to his residency and the long hours. Intern year is almost up. I hear it's supposed to ease up after that. He still likes it most days and will say he made the right choice.
